Colleen Cleary

Colleen Cleary is an associate at the San Francisco office of Berman Tabacco. Colleen devotes her practice to representing consumers and businesses in complex multidistrict antitrust class actions. Colleen is a strong believer in efficiently litigating cases to provide financial justice for her clients, and is a zealous advocate for those harmed by anticompetitive conduct.

Prior to joining the firm, Colleen worked as a class action litigator in the Bay Area primarily representing consumers harmed by anticompetitive conduct. She also assisted in representing defrauded investors in a securities class action.

While in law school, Colleen gained experience prosecuting antitrust cases. She worked at the Federal Trade Commission, investigating anticompetitive civil mergers in the health care industry, and the Department of Justice’s Antitrust Division, assisting in the prosecution of criminal price-fixing conspiracies. She also developed her advocacy skills while in school as a member of the National Moot Court Competition team and earned the Best Oral Advocate Award in the school’s annual moot court competition. Colleen was a member of the University of San Francisco Law Review.

Member of the litigation teams prosecuting claims of collusion between major banks to manipulate financial benchmark rates, including Yen Libor, the EuroYen Tibor, Euribor, Swiss franc Libor and the Canadian Dollar Offered Rate.
