ISS Securities Class Action Services recently released its “Top 50 for 2015” report analyzing 133 class action settlements approved during 2015. ISS’s report “lists the top 50 plaintiffs’ law firms ranked by the total dollar value of the final class action settlements occurring in 2015 in which the law firm served as lead or co-lead counsel.”
Out of the top 50 law firms, Berman DeValerio placed sixth based on the recovery of $510 million in settlements for investors. Berman DeValerio was one of only six firms that recovered more than half-a-billion dollars for investors in 2015. Of note, the figures used by ISS are based only on class action settlements, and do not reflect additional sums recovered by Berman DeValerio in non-class cases.
