About the Investigation
According to recent allegations, T1 Energy, a solar energy manufacturer, has engaged in suspicious transactions with a Chinese supplier subject to Foreign Entity of Concern restrictions instituted by the U.S. government and improperly claiming solar manufacturer federal tax credits relating to those transactions. These allegations come on top of the Company’s December 2025 revelation that it received U.S. Department of Justice grand jury subpoenas and SEC requests relating to 2023 stock sales by a Company executive and board member.
