The Boston office of Berman Tabacco is seeking an associate with 3 to 6 years of experience in complex securities litigation and case evaluation to join our securities case evaluation team. Attorneys with diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Core Responsibilities include:

  • Assist with the investigation and development of securities class actions, derivative actions and individual securities litigation in federal and state courts across the country
  • Conduct detailed factual and legal analysis of potential and pending securities and derivative claims

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • JD with 3-6 years’ experience in securities class action and/or derivative litigation
  • Experience with Delaware Court of Chancery a plus
  • Applicants should have exceptional research and writing skills, a strong academic background and a demonstrated interest in securities fraud litigation
  • Solid time management, multitasking, initiative and communications skills are also essential to the position
  • A background in economics or finance is helpful but not required
